Ground contact…

These are plain ol’ 1971-1987 Chevy truck rally wheels, which I customized a bit with some rattle cans.

I deleted the trim rings, painted the wheels a high-gloss “white sand”  off-white color and the hub caps got a coating of black.  Chrome covered rubber valve stems offered a clean yet reliable addition.  Cheap plastic lug nut covers from Amazon helped clean-up the package also.

Custom printed wheel center cap stickers from Sticker Mule.

For the center of the cap, I purchased Sticker Mule custom printed 2″ diameter Chevrolet stickers to cover the OEM logo badge.  The OEM badge has a logo that is embossed so it helped with the sticker to give it an embossed look also.

For some reason, I’m often asked about the size of my tire and wheel COMBO even though they are plain ol’ truck rallies.  I guess they lost their OEM identity with the facelift.

15×8 OEM 5×5 Chevrolet truck rallies with 255x60x15 Cooper Cobra tires.  Cheap, but effective and with a personal touch.

Finished. Ready for install.
